Inés is a highly experienced Pediatric Cardiologist specialized in advanced cardiovascular multimodality imaging, with a strong background in pediatric intensive care and perioperative management of congenital heart diseases.

She graduated with honors as a Medical Doctor from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) and completed her full medical training at the renowned Buenos Aires Children’s Hospital “Sor María Ludovica”, including residencies and chief residencies in Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology. She later earned her specialist degree in Pediatric Cardiology from UBA, also with honors, and pursued a formal academic career as a faculty member at the same institution.

Inés has extensive expertise in cardiovascular imaging, including pediatric echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, intraoperative imaging, cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, and nuclear cardiology. She has completed multiple postgraduate programs and advanced certifications through UBA and the Argentine Society of Cardiology, accumulating decades of hands-on experience in high-complexity clinical settings.

Her professional career includes long-standing roles in pediatric intensive care units, cardiovascular recovery units, and congenital cardiac surgery services, with a particular focus on perioperative care. Since 2006, she has been a staff physician at the Children’s Hospital “Dr. Pedro de Elizalde”, where she previously served as Head of Clinical Cardiology and currently leads the Perioperative Cardiology Unit. Beyond her clinical work, Inés is an active member of the Argentine Society of Cardiology, a frequent speaker at national cardiology congresses, and a dedicated educator. She has authored and presented more than 30 scientific publications, completed over 70 advanced training courses, and currently serves as a faculty member and course director in multiple pediatric cardiology and cardiovascular imaging programs.
