Dr. Kreutzer is one of Argentina’s leading pediatric cardiovascular surgeons, with extensive experience in the surgical treatment of congenital heart disease and the leadership of high-complexity cardiac programs.

He completed his medical training at the University of Buenos Aires, specialized in Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgery at Hospital de Niños Ricardo Gutiérrez, and further advanced his expertise through a fellowship in Pediatric Cardiac Surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School.

Currently serving as Chief of Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgery at Hospital Universitario Austral, Dr. Kreutzer has led major pediatric cardiac surgery services throughout Argentina and has contributed extensively to clinical research, surgical education, and international scientific collaborations. He is an active member of leading professional organizations, including the American Association for Thoracic surgery (AATS), Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) and the European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery (EACTS).

As a Clinical Advisor to AVaTAR MedTech, Dr. Kreutzer provides strategic clinical guidance on congenital valve reconstruction, supports product validation and surgical workflow integration, and contributes to the development of technologies aimed at improving outcomes for children with congenital heart disease.
